He uses this knowledge and technology to exact revenge on the gang responsible for the attack. The movie iBoy is a Science-Fiction-Thriller based on the same novel from Kevin Brooks. It is about the teenagers Tom Harvey (Bill Milner) and Lucy Walker (Maisie Williams) who live in an estate called Crow Lane or Crow Town. <br/><br/>Tom is shot in his head, by which he gets a brain injury, while he is holding his Iphone on his head. Through this some parts of his phone enter his brain. Result of this are some superpowers, with which he can visit the internet in his mind or trace some SMS. With those powers, he gets to know that Lucy, with who he is in love, was raped by some members of a Gang in Crow Town. Now he would like to exercise revenge, but however, comes out about his aim.<br/><br/>The film has some good soundtracks and a good setting. The actors, Maisie Williams and Bill Milner, make a good job in this film and also the other actors perform well. On account of the subject of revenge and technology, it is a recommendable film, especially because of the modern elements and the plot. <br/><br/>In my opinion, the film is a well-made Science-Fiction-Thriller with great effects, with a good plot and great actors. I really recommend this film for every teenager but also for families. I like this movie. I don't understand the negative reviews. How can you have humour with rape, extortion, kidnapping, murder, suicide…It's ridiculous and just another sign of the times we're living in.<br/><br/>I like this movie because there wasn't that much violence, blood and gore like Daredevil and much of what is on TV today. I would have preferred no swearing but…oh well. Typical with British shows iBoy is chalk full of swearing but not nearly enough slang. <br/><br/>The concept of a phone embedding into the brain and merging with it is not much different from Daredevil and Spiderman. I thought this was going to be a TV series and not a single movie.<br/><br/>I will suggest this show to others with a short disclaimer. Good movie! Bring a on sequel! For me the superpower idea can only work with humour and lightness of touch: and there is a persistent and disconcerting joylessness about this.
